It’s a big congratulations to Aaron Rolston and Wayne Lewis who have
become the 2024 Larne Pool League Doubles winners after a fine evening of Blackball Pool in the Q Club.
From an initial 50 entries the finals night
started with 16 teams left and a strong field of potential winners.
Highlight of the night being perhaps the last 16 match between eventual
winners Lewis/Rolston who overcame Gerry McCorry and Johnny Nelson 4-3
in a match that saw 6x 8-Ball clearances. Strong showings were also seen
from the young duo of Jack Carson/Ryan Scott who reached the semi finals
and Nick McClay/Darren Witherspoon who reached the Quarters.
