And the Saints go marching on. What a match in the St Comgalls Club as Saints defeated Champions The Thatch to stay top of the Q.Club sponsored Larne & District Pool League. The hosts trailed 5-7 but took the last 3 frames plus the play off frame to record a famous victory. Feathers remain unbeaten as they move quietly up into 2nd spot only one point behind Saints. Tied third are Ibrox, Q.Pool and Thatch. Ibrox won comfortably 10-4 away to Rubys but they have a very tough run of fixtures up to the Christmas break. Q.Pool got back on track after last weeks setback by hammering The Gers 13-2 in the Rangers Club. Tech Tornadoes move three points clear in sixth after overcoming Freewheelers by 10-5. Thatch Rockets recorded a similar scoreline against No 1 Blues whilst Station Bar needed to win the play off frame to oust newcomers Clonlee. Last but not least what a result for Q.Club. They could only field three men against St Comgalls so started 0-6 down. But the trio of Lee Topping, Neil McFaul and Tyler McConnell roared back for a very unlikely 9-7 win against a stunned St Comgalls team.

Johnny Nelson (Thatch) suffers his first losses of the season but still remains on a very healthy 17/19. Ellis Martin (Ibrox) is starting to motor with 22/25 as is Joe Patton (Feathers) with 21/24 whilst Shaun McAlister (Saints) is on 15/19. Also shooting well are Ryan McKillop (Thatch) with 20/26, Ed McDowell (Ibrox (19/25) and Paul Francey (Q.Pool) on 18/24
