League Results from Week 4
RESULTS FROM THURSDAY 1st OCTOBER
No 1 Blues 2-13 Ibrox
St Comgalls 2-13 Feathers
Q.Club 6-9 Thatch
Thatch Rockets 2-13 Q.Pool
Freewheelers 3-12 Saints
Station Bar 8-8 No 1 Reds
Gers 15-0 Rubys Bar
Tech Tornadoes 9-6 Clonlee
No change as the top 5 teams all won to move onto eight points apiece. Hugo Manson's Feathers thrashed St Comgalls by 13-2 a result matched by Q.Pool away to Thatch Rockets. Champions The Thatch stormed into a 7-1 lead away to Q.Club but were glad to leave with both points just avoiding the play off frame in a 9-6 win. Saints won 12-3 at Freewheelers who had Geoff McMichael to thank as he won all three for the "Busmen". Blues young guns were well beaten by Ibrox for whom Stephen Johnston had a funny night firstly losing to a great performance by 12 year old Ryan Marcus but then proceeding to win his next two both with classy break and dishes. Stuart Houston's Gers were on fire whitewashing Rubys Bar in the Rangers Club whilst Tech Tornadoes registered their second win of the season edging out newcomers Clonlee by 9-6. And finally we had our first draw of the season with Ciaran O'Toole winning the play off frame to give Station Bar a share of the spoils against No 1 Reds.
Still early days in our "Player of the Year" table but starting off well this season are Colin Wilson (Gers) on 9/9 and Ciaran O'Toole (Station Bar) on 10/12
