There were no upsets in Week 3 of the Q.Club Larne & District Pool League but a revamped Feathers team were pushed all the way by No 1 Blues and had to win the play off frame to take the points. Ibrox were also tested by an improving Tech Tornadoes team and needed to win Frame 15 to avoid a play off frame. Thatch, Gers and No 1 Reds all had comfortable wins against St Comgalls, Clonlee and Freewheelers respectively whilst Saints had to win the final four frames on the card to secure a 9-6 win at home to Thatch Rockets. Station Bar moved joint 6th courtesy of a solid 10-5 away win at Rubys Bar. As we move into Week 4 only two points seperate the Top 9 teams.
Still early days in our POTY, but shooting nicely from Champions the Thatch are Ryan McKillop and Colin Montgomery (7-1) & Johnny Nelson (6-0)
