And then there were three. Two of the five 100% records fell tonight in League Week Six of the Q.Club sponsored Larne & District Pool League. Ibrox lost the play off frame as Q.Club got their first points on the board and Feathers dropped a point away from home to a gutsy Thatch Rockets team. There were big wins for Champions The Thatch, Saints and Q.Pool. Thatch had far too much quality for Freewheelers running out 13-2 winners, Saints thrashed newcomers Rubys Bar by 14-1 and Q.Pool overcame a potential banana skin fixture at Station Bar by 11-4. Gers won the play off frame against the No 1 Reds to leave both sides with a point a piece whilst St Comgalls got their season up and running seeing off Clonlee 9-6 in the Club derby match. Last but not least Tech Tornadoes ousted No 1 Blues winning the final two frames for a 9-6 victory
Still to early for our POTY table but Ellis Martin (Ibrox) and Geoff McMichael (Freewheelers) share the lead on most frames won so far with 14 each. Most hat tricks to date to Paul Francey (Q,Pool), Geoff McMichael (Freewheelers), Joe Patton (Feathers), Ryan McKillop and Jonny Nelson (Thatch) and Stuart Houston and Colin Wilson (Gers). All named are on 3 a peice.
