Larne League players had a good showing at the NIPA 2015 Individual Championships at the Stormont Hotel, Belfast over the weekend 23-25th January.
By far the best was the Thatch cueist Ronan McCarthy who stormed to victory in both the Mens and Seniors events, a fantastic achievement indeed by the countries No 1 cueist. Incredibly Thatch had three players in the Seniors Semi Finals the other two being Johnny Nelson and eventual Runner Up Bill McIlroy. Ibrox's Robert Hawkins reached the Final of the Masters event.
In the Willie Lucas Super 7s team event defending Champions the Thatch won the Plate event whilst Coast Road made the last 4 of the Main event only losing out to eventual winners 147 Antrim who had World Snooker star Mark Allen in their ranks.
