It's well done to the Q.Club Seniors pairing of Kenny English & Jim Gilchrist on taking down the Larne League Doubles title on Thursday 9th March 2023. The Whitehead man and Ballynure man respectively came from 0-2 down against Team mates Robert Hawkins & Neil Campbell to win 4-2 in the Quarter Finals and also seen off Anthony McCorry & Ciaran O'Toole by the same scoreline in the Semi Finals. In the Final they came up against last years Runners Up Jason Voorhees and Jean McIlroy who had won an epic Semi Final 4-3 against Bill McIlroy Jr & Stuart Houston, Jason potting a winning black that defied logic. But it was to be English's and Gilchrist's year as they took the crown with a 4-1 victory running off the last three racks from 1-1.
