THURSDAY 12th MARCH

Blues 5-10 Ibrox
Five Plus One 12-3 Clonlee
Q Stix 7-9 Eight Ball Army
Lorraines 7-9 Dirty Dozen
St Comgalls 9-7 Q Stars
Station Bar 2-13 Q Tips

With leaders Five Plus One and second placed Ibrox both winning comfortably tonight the scene is set for a huge top of the table clash between both teams next Thursday in the Rangers Club. Ibrox came through with session scores of 3-2, 4-1 and 3-2 away to Blues whilst Five Plus One won all three sessions by 4-1 at home to Clonlee. Q.Tips followed up last weeks big win with another, this time they won 13-2 away to Station Bar with session scores of 4-1, 5-0 and 4-1. New team in the League from the half way break Dirty Dozen under the leadership of Marty Kane registered their first success, a 9-7 away win in the Pigeon Club against Lorraine's Flyers. The match though went the whole way to the Play Off Frame where veteran Alan Corrigan secured the win for his team and also four frames from four on the night for himself. St Comgalls stay in third position after victory in another match that went to the sixteenth rack. Hero of the hour for the hosts against Q.Stars was once again the consistent Dean McDonagh, session scores were 2-3, 2-3, 4-1 and 1-0 for Paul Smyth's side. Last but not least in the third match of the evening that went the whole way John Kerr's Eight Ball Army edged it 9-7 against Q.Stix. Play Off Frame winner for the Army was Thomas Fleming as they stay in fourth spot in the table with session scores of 4-1, 3-2, 1-4 and 1-0 in their favour.

With only five remaining fixtures our 2020 "McCLAY'S TROPHIES" Player of the Year Competition has a clear leader albeit only by a single point. Johnny Nelson leads Dean McDonagh with Thomas Fleming having a fantastic season sitting in third spot.
