2017 Larne League Seniors Individual - Big Bill just keeps getting better
Played to a finish in the Rangers Club on Saturday 8th April. Its congratulations to Bill McIlroy Sr once again. The Thatch cueman has added the League Seniors title to the Masters one he won last week. Like a fine wine the big man just keeps improving with age. Bill's win puts him on course for what would be an unprecedented treble of Masters, Seniors and Open Individuals, a feat which if he pulls it off today may never be repeated in our League. Well done to his Thatch team mate Gerry McCorry who reached the final pairing, a good boost for both players as they head off shortly to represent Northern Ireland at the 2017 EBA European Championships.
