LEAGUE WEEK 4 - Thursday 29th September

St Comgalls 7-9 No 1 Blues
Gers 8-8 Station Bar
Thatch Rockets 6-9 Thatch
Saints 13-2 Ibrox
Q.Pool 13-2 Clonlee
Rubys 9-6 Freewheelers
Feathers 8-8 Q.Club

Week 4 in the Q.Club sponsored Larne & District Pool League really only had one big talking point. And it wasn't an underdog bringing down a so called big team, it was Saints absolute 13-2 annihalation of last years runners up Ibrox. Dean McDonagh's men never looked back after they raced into a 3-0 lead and on this form will put last seasons disappointment quickly behind them and challenge all the way for the title. Q.Pool will have something to say about that as they now sit proudly on top of the pile courtesy of a 13-2 romp over lowly Clonlee. Feathers lost their 100% record, as an outstanding display from 15 year old Aaron Rolston gave Q.Club a well earned point. Aaron won 4/4 on the night including the all important 16th frame with a fantastic clearance. Current Champions The Thatch laboured to a 9-6 win over stablemates Thatch Rockets to keep within breathing distance of the top teams whilst Micky O'Boyle won 4/4 to seal a deserved point for his Station Bar team away to Stuart Houston's Gers. No 1 Blues got their first win of the season as they took the play off frame away to Paul Smyth's St Comgalls and last but not least Rubys Stars move up to joint 4th after overcoming Freewheelers by 9-6.
