To say the wheels have fallen off Saints Pool Team is a huge understatement. From title favourites to outsiders in a few weeks as they lost once again this time at home to Stuart Houston's Gers by a 9-6 scoreline. And Bryan McWhirter's reigning Champions Thatch Bar took full advantage again with a demolition of basement team Rubys Bar by 14-1. Ibrox remain in third after coming from 0-2 down to see off Freewheelers by 11-4 in the Rangers Club whilst Q.Pool still have title ambitions of their own as they easily overcame No 1 Reds by 12-3. Feathers put in a very strong performace, ending Station Bar's recent run of form with a 13-2 victory and Q.Club edged a tight match away to Tech Tornadoes courtesy off a Rab Butler play off frame win. The points were shared as No 1 Blues and St Comgalls battled out a hard fought 8-8 draw whilst Clonlee's Tony McKeown was the hero winning the play off frame for a 9-7 win against a Thatch Rockets team who had won the corresponding fixture 13-2 earlier in the season. Clonlee's win moves them off joint bottom spot in the table.
