League leaders Thatch took their place in the Semi Finals of the Knock Out Cup after an 8-5 win over St Comgalls. But they didn't get it easy as St Comgalls inspired by a Danny McKendry hat trick made them fight all the way. Stalwart Bill McIlroy Sr scored a hat trick for Thatch. A Dean McDonagh treble helped Saints reach the Semi Final stage after a hard fought win over Feathers. The match was tied at 5-5 and looked like going the distance but Saints rallied to take three in a row and close out the match. No 1 Club earned their place with a similar scoreline, 8-5 over Ibrox. They raced into a 3-0 lead and although Ibrox came back into the match, it was the No 1 Club bouyed by a treble from the newly crowned Richard Bowen Memorial Individual Champion Ellis Martin, who will be in the draw for the Semi Finals. In the last of the Quarter Finals No 1 Blues took a 2-0 lead over Station Bar but they couldn't sustain it and Mickey O'Boyle's railwaymen stormed back to win by 8-4.
Semi Final draw to take place at Delegates Meeting, this Thursday 13th February in the Pigeon Club.
