Tonight seen a break from League action as the Knock Out Cup Quarter Finals took centre stage in the Q.Club. Q.Pool put last weeks diappointment well behind them as they hammered Gers by 8-1 to become the first team into the Semi Finals. League leaders Pigeon Club were next to reach the last four though they were pushed all the way to Frame 14 by Neil McFaul's Q.Club side. Third team into the hat were Ibrox, who trailed 2-3 but eventually progressed courtesy of an 8-5 win over a never say die Rubys Stars. The fourth and final team into the draw are Ally Law'sThatch Rockets though it was heartbreak for Freewheelers as they went down by the odd frame 8-7, Jean McIlroy being the hero of the hour winning the fifteenth and deciding rack for Rockets.
The draw for the Semi Finals takes place next Thursday 7th December at our delegates meeting in the Rangers Club at 7.15pm with ties being played in the Q.Club on Thursday 8th February.
