It's as you were at the top of the Q.Club sponsored Larne & District Pool League with the top three teams all winning. Newcomers Clonlee were holding Champions The Thatch after the first six frames but Bryan McWhirter's men took total control running off the remaining nine for a 12-3 win. It was similar pattern in the No 1 Club as League leaders the Saints went on to win 10-5 from a 3-3 position against the young Blues team. Q.Pool struggled at Tech Tornadoes but eventually claimed both points courtesy of a play off frame to solidify 3rd place at the half way mark. Ibrox and Feathers were locked at 5-5 after the second session in the Rangers Club but the hosts went into the Christmas break in 4th spot as they won four from the remaining five frames to leapfrog the Pigeon Club lads. Congratulations to Rubys Bar on claiming their first point of the campaign in a hard fought 8-8 draw against the Q.Club. Honours were also even in the Pigeon Club as Freewheelers won the crucial play off frame. Reds made sure of a top half finish at the break with a steady 9-6 away win over St Comgalls whilst last but not least Station Bar had too much for Thatch Rockets and ran out 11-4 victors.
