Saints stay top of the Q.Club sponsored Larne & District Pool League after thrashing second placed Ibrox 11-4 in a match that many thought would have went the distance. From 2-2 the hosts won seven on the bounce to ensure both points. Thatch keep in touch at the top but they hard to work hard at an inspired Gers team where the defending Champions needed the play off frame to secure the two points. Meanwhile Q.Pool and Feathers played out a hard fought 8-8 draw in the Q.Club, the visitors were never in front and came from 1-4 and 7-8 down to get their vital point. Feathers host the Thatch next week as the big matches come thick and fast towards the Christmas break. Tech Tornadoes continued their good run with an 11-4 win away to Rubys Bar, whilst No 1 Reds also won 11-4, at home to newcomers Clonlee. Q.Club, the Jekyll and Hyde team so far, turned in a great performance with a 14-1 away win at Thatch Rockets whilst Station Bar edged the No 1 Blues 9-6. And last but not least St Comgalls recorded a welcome 11-4 win away to Freewheelers a result that sees them leapfrog their opponents in the League table.
