Saints survived a difficult fixture away to previously unbeaten Feathers to remain top of the Q,Club sponsored Larne & District Pool League. After a high quality match with break and dishes and 8 ball clearances a plenty it is still the visitors who are asking all the questions of the chasing pack. Reigning champions Thatch won the other big match of the night seeing off Q.Pool with a 10-5 home success. Ibrox move quietly up into joint second after a 10-5 win over No 1 Reds but now face four tough fixtures against the other title hopefuls in the run up to Christmas starting away to Saints next week. Surprise team of the season Tech Tornadoes continued their fine form with a convincing 10-5 result at home to Station Bar whilst in the battle of the newcomers it was Clonlee who edged out Rubys Bar by 9-6. St Comgalls recorded their second win of the campaign with a 9-6 win over out of form Thatch Rockets. This seasons underperformers Q.Club put only their second two points on the board with a 10-5 win at home to Gers whilst honours were shared between Freewheelers and No 1 Blues, the latter coming back from 1-6 down to earn a point courtesy of Craig Johnston in the play off frame..
