They say all winners need a little bit of luck on their way to success, and when Gareth McIlroy knuckled a black in the ninth and deciding frame in the first round, Ryan McKillop took full advantage to close the match out at 5-4. It proved to be his closest call as he went on to secure to his first title of 2015 SRM SERVICES Larne League Individual Champion with subsequent comfortable victories of 5-0 v Jeff Heggan, 5-2 v Robert Hawkins, 6-1 v Steven Carson and a fantastic 7-2 against the in form Gerry McCorry in the Final.
A massive well done to Ryan whose win earns him a shot at the NIPA Masters Invitational event in June.
