Thatch Bar retained the Larne & District Pool League Knock Out Cup defeating Ibrox in the Final of the event played in the No 1 Club on Monday 9th Martch 2015. Bryan McWhirter's team are now within touching distance of their second "League and Cup Double" in a row as they lead Saints by 3 points with only 4 matches remaining in the League. On the night, Thatch led 4-1 but Ibrox fought back to level at 4-4and the tension in the room was tangible. But a four frame burst from the holders sealed the win and title for The Thatch. Man of the match was Ryan McKillop with a precise hat trick. The win for Thatch secures them a place in the NIPA Champions of Champions Competition.
