Tonights fixtures seen the Larne & District Pool League reach its' half way stage and the Christmas break with play resuming again on Thursday 8th January 2015. To the action, and Thatch Bar are three points clear after a 9-6 win against a determined and improving Rubys Rockets team. No 1 Club nursing a hangover from last weeks top of the table defeat against leaders Thatch and were held 8-8 by St Comgalls who led going into the play off frame. Saints are now one point clear in second after demolishing bottom side BSQ Rangers by 14-1. And although Ibrox didn't seal the win until the final frame, they overcame No 1 Blues 9-6 in the Rangers Club. Feathers needed the play off frame to edge out the Q. Club whilst Thatch Rockets had a tremendous 9-6 away win against Station Bar. Last but not least, No 1 Reds kept their good season going with a 9-6 home win against Gers.
