The OXYGEN THERAPY CENTRE is a non profit making organisation who raise funds through subscriptions, donations and fund raising.
Larne & District Pool League are delighted to be able to help out by choosing the organisation as our annual nominated charity. The Oxygen Therapy Centre has been in the Larne area since 1988. At first only Multiple Sclerosis patients used the therapy but over the years various ailments as diverse as sports injuries and cerebral palsy have been added to the the list. Patients are treated in a specialised pressure chamber where they can breathe Hyperbaric Oxygen. HBO is not a cure but can be effective in helping to heal wounds and avoid deterioration in illnesses such as Multiple Sclerosis.

Reported benefits of HBOT are improvements in circulation, vision, speech, memory and concentration, bladder and bowel control, pain and stress levels, energy levels and mood and sense of well being.
