The Committee of Larne and District Pool League are delighted to have raised the record amount for our annual nominated charity. This year it is Inver House in the town which benefits and in the photo handing over and receiving the cheque are - (left to right) League Treasurer Scott Hutchinson, Sister Carol Ferguson, Nurse Siobhan Mulvenna and League Chairman Bill McIlroy.
The funds were raised by a Charity Pool night which was attended by Larne League, Carrick League, Crumlin League and North Down & Ards League along with an end of season Table Quiz. Our own League also donated winnings from the annual Northern Ireland Pool Association Interleague event to boost our total to the £700 mark
Inver House is an 18 bed rehabilitation and palliative care unit in the grounds of the Moyle Hospital in Larne.
