Stuart Houston is the new SRM Larne & District League 2014 Individual Champion. After 2 days of Pool in the Rangers Club the Gers Captain was presented with the trophy by Stephen McWhirter, MD of SRM Services. On his way to an all Rangers Club final he seen off challenges from Hugo Manson, Bill McIlroy Jr, Bill McIlroy Sr and Gareth McIlroy. In the final Houston overcame Michael Wilson off Ibrox by 6-4 in a tense match. Wilson also had a hard path to the final pairing with wins over Glynn Williams, Shaun McAlister, John McClean, Kenny English and Steven Carson.
The victory by Houston qualifies him for a place in the 2014 NIPA Masters Invitational on May 22nd in the Swift, Carrickfergus
