Congratulations to Saints Pool Team on retaining the 2017 Larne & District Pool League Knock Out Cup. For underdogs Rubys Stars the fairytale dream is over but they should be proud of their achievement this season in reaching the Final.
Saints opened strongly winning the first two frames of the match, Rubys then pulled one back and should have levelled at 2-2. But instead it went 3-1 to Saints from where they never looked back winning the next five on the trot for an emphatic 8-1 victory. The Final was held in the Q.Club on Monday 20th February.
