After three years of dominence in the Q.Club sponsored Larne & District Pool League it looks all over for the Thatch after a hammering at home to an inspired Q.Pool team. Apart from two frames back to back at 4-0 down it was all one way traffic as Q.Pool stormed to a 13-2 win. Long time leaders Feathers remain unbeaten though once again they were involved in a play off frame. But it was St Comgalls Anthony McCorry who won the all important 16th rack to level the scores at 8-8. Cup Winners Saints move quietly under the radar into second in the table after a confident 12-3 win in their derby match against Station Bar. Gers remain in 5th after an impressive 11-4 away win against Q.Club whilst stablemates Ibrox registered the same result against second botton Freewheelers. Rubys Stars quickly put the disappointment of their Cup Final loss behind them as they won 10-5 away at Clonlee whilst No 1 Blues had too much for Thatch Rockets in a 10-5 home win.
