Thatch Bar will still be eyeing up a League and Cup double after a Bill McIlroy Sr hat trick helped them overcome the No 1 Blues team by 8-4. Q.Pool looked in trouble early on as they trailed third placed Ibrox by 1-3, but a fantastic run of seven frames on the trot seen them through to take their place in the Semi Final draw. Last but not least Rubys Stars, inspired by hat tricks from Darren McClelland and Oliver Mulvenna, became the fourth team to reach the last four with an 8-4 win over St Comgalls, Manager Nick McClay wont mind being the underdogs in the draw and will relish the thought of plotting the downfall of one of the big three. The Semi Final draw will be made at the League delegates meeting on Thursday 5th January.
