They have underachieved most of the season, but tonight Station Bar blew the race for the Q.Club sponsored Larne and District Pool League wide open with a fantastic 10-5 win against League Leaders the Saints who had previously boasted a 100% record of played 19 and won 19. Second placed Thatch took full advantage with a 14-1 demolition of stablemates Thatch Rockets whilst third placed Ibrox won 13-2 away to St Comgalls with a sparkling display. Q.Pool turned on the style in the Pigeon Club to stay in touch at the top with a 12-3 success over Freewheelers. Feathers lost ground as they went down 6-9 to a much improved Q.Club team whilst Gers had a good result overcoming Tech Tornadoes 9-6 in the Rangers Club. It was a double this week for the No 1 Club teams as Reds eased to an 11-4 win at Rubys Rockets and Blues earned a welcome two points defeating newcomers Clonlee by 9-6
