Gareth McIlroy continued his good form off late by wining the all important 16th frame against the Gers to give No 1 Reds a 9-7 away win. Ibrox keep in touch at the top after a 10-5 away win at No 1 Blues, session scores were 2-3, 4-1, 4-1. Michael Wilson bagged a treble for Ibrox. The Thatch winning machine keep their run going after a 14-1 demolition off Dhu. No 1 Club eased to an 11-4 home win over LIPS, whilst Saints stay 2nd after defeating bottom team Larne FSC 10-5 in the St Comgalls Club. Station Bar won all three sessions against Thatch Rockets, 3-2, 4-1, 3-2 with team Captain Mickey O'Boyle scoring a hat trick. After a titanic struggle in the Pigeon Club, Feathers and St Comgalls both had to settle for a point each. The hosts had Captain Hugo Manson to thank after he won the last two frames of the match from 6-8 down.
