Thatch move clear at the top of the table after seeing off near rivals No 1 Club by 10-5. And like last week Bryan McWhirter's team raced into a healthy lead which was just too much for the No 1 lads to pull back. Gers keep well in touch after a comfortable 11-4 win away to Pigeon Club team, The Highfliers. Also well in contention are Saints who navigated a tricky fixture at home to the much improved Station Bar by 10-5. For the hosts Bill McIlroy Jr and Paul McAlister both scored their second consecutive trebles whilst Davy Magill was best for Station with 2/2. Ibrox were far from spectacular but ground out a win at home to No 1 Reds. The hosts trailed 2-3 after the first session, they then won the next seven before losing the last three in a 9-6 victory. No 1 Blues saved it from being a bad week all round for the Club by outpotting Feathers 9-6 in the shock result of the night. Lee Topping was the hero of the hour as he won the all important 16th frame to secure the two points for the Blues. He also scored 4/4 on the night himself. Larne FSC stay rooted to the bottom after going down 6-9 at home to St Comgalls and in the final match of the night Dhu recorded their second win of the campaign, with session scores of 4-1, 2-3 & 3-2 against Thatch Rockets for an overall result of 9-6. Ricky Mann scored a hat trick for the Dhu.
