No 1 Club are right back in the title race after a pulsating 9-6 win at home to fellow title contenders Saints.Darren Lowe was the hero of the hour winning the 15th frame to seal the 2 points. The No 1 lads were bouyed by two hat tricks from experienced campaigners Ellis Martin and Barney Hylands. Thatch remain top dogs after demolishing LIPS 14-1 up at Inver Park but Gers lost a bit of ground as they were held 8-8 away to Hugo Mansons Feathers, Gers had David Kernohan to thank as he won the play off frame to guarantee manager Stuart Houston's a vital point. Ibrox stay unbeaten after they registered a comfortable 12-3 home win over Highfliers and St Comgalls inspired by a Michael McCambridge treble eased to an 11-4 home win against new boys Dhu. No 1 Reds took maximum points against bottom team Larne FSC, Glynn Williams and Gareth McIlroy both scoring fine hat tricks. And to complete a good week for the No 1 Teams, the young Blues lads came back from 5-8 down at Station Bar to earn a point in an 8-8 draw. Andrew Lilly won the all important 16th frame with a superb break and dish.
