Ibrox hold on to their unbeaten start to the season and stay in touch at the top of the table after a comfortable 13-2 win away to St Comgalls. Stephen McWhirter and Robert Hawkins both bagged trebles whilst Danny McKendry won both frames for the hosts. With league leaders the No 1 Club having a bye this week, Bryan McWhirter's Thatch team took full advantage and moved joint top after a solid 10-5 win away to Station Bar helped to no end by winning the first 6 frames of the match. Richard Swann's LIPS, once considered an easy touch, showed just how much they have improved this season by moving up to 11th in the table after winning their 4th match off the campaign courtesy off a 10-5 result over new boys Dhu. Saints overcame a potential banana skin at Hugo Manson's Feathers by a 10-5 scoreline. The match was all over as a contest after frame 11 as the visitors romped 9-2 ahead. Paul McAlister and Bill McIlroy Jr both scored fine hat tricks. Gers stay unbeaten after defeating No 1 Blues 10-5 at home but well done to the visitors Lee Topping, the Northern Ireland Under 18 player won 3/3 on the night. After going 0-2 down, Thatch Rockets inspired by a Jean McIlroy treble, cruised to an 11-4 win at home to bottom team Larne FSC. No 1 Reds versus Highfliers was postponed.
