The computer has spoken and the 31st season of Larne & District Pool League gets underway on Thursday 5th September as 15 teams battle it out for all the honours on offer in 2013/2014.
Champions The Gers start their defence of the title at home to Station Bar whilst last seasons runners up The Thatch open up with a derby match against stablemates Thatch Rockets. Ibrox who came in 3rd are away to Larne FSC and new boys and favourites in many peoples eyes to win the League, The Saints, are at home to LIPS. In two other derby matches Feathers and Highfliers do battle in the Pigeon Club and No 1 Blues host No 1 Club. Another new team Cairndhu Golf Club (Dhu) start off at home to No 1 Reds. St Comgalls have a bye.
