Congratulations to Thatch cueman Johnny Nelson who has just won the Richard Bowen Memorial Individual trophy. It is a remarkeable achievement for Johnny as he has now entered it 3 times and he has won it 3 times, his last wins coming in 2001 and 2004. Well done also to Runner Up John McAllister from Cargan, Ballymena, on a memorable journey to reach the final pairing. From an initial entry of 60, eight tables were in play to take us down to the Quarter Final stage. The competition was played from start to finish in the St Comgalls Club.
