It's a "Special" day for English

It's congratulations to Kenny English who has just become Larne & District Pool League 2012 SRM Individual Champion. From a field of 54, the 45 year old Whitehead man kept his nerve to win the title during the Larne Festival of Pool in the Rangers Club. Knicknamed "Special K" for his exploits on the green baize, English looked down and out in the last 32 when trailing 1-3 against Ian McCalmont, but he edged himself through that round and went on to qualify for the Last 8 on Finals Day and the rest is history. This is SRM Services 6th year in sponsoring the Competition and amazingly the trophy has been won every year by a player from a Rangers Club Pool Team.
