The
League crown heads to the Station Bar in Larne as Station Slippys beat Station
Bar 10-5 in the derby match to secure the points required with one
fixture remaining. Well done lads.
But what a performance also this season by Ibrox who pushed them all the way and indeed if Slippys had of slipped up tonight, the Rangers Club team themselves could have lifted the title in the final fixture. An upset was definitely on the cards as Station Bar led 3-2 after the first session but Slippys won the next session 5-0 and with a draw being enough for Bryan McWhirter's team it was Stuart "The Pig" Kelly who brought home the bacon by winning Frame 11 of the match.
Also decided tonight were our Divisional Player of the Year Title Winners. St Comgalls' Dean McDonagh retained the McCLAY TROPHIES & ENGRAVING Division 1 Crown and LT&LBC cueist Nick McClay won the honour in Division 2.
