Five Plus One 12-3 Station Bar
Q.Stix 5-10 Q.Tips

With three weeks of the new season now over Hugo Manson's Q.Tips side lead the Larne & District Pool League table by two clear points after a remarkable comeback against previously joint top Q.Stix. Tips trailed 0-4 in the derby match but came storming back winning ten out of the next eleven racks for a 10-5 victory. Q.Tips, who can be genuine title contenders this season, have a massive match next week at home to Champions Five Plus One who steamrolled Station Bar by 12-3 with session scores of 4-1, 5-0 and 3-2. Last season Runners Up St Comgalls recorded their first win of this campaign, they were relatively untroubled winning all 3 sessions 4-1 against Alex Irvine's Blues. Ibrox made it two wins on the trot with a 10-5 success over Lorraine's Flyers. A run of seven racks on the trot done the damage for Michael Wilson's Rangers Club side, session scores were 4-1, 3-2 and 3-2. Francie Gribben's Clonlee entertained Q.Pool in the St Comgalls Club and after a bad start trailed Nick McClays visitors by 6-1. The hosts rallied bringing it back to 5-6 but Q.Pool ran off the remaining four frames of the night to finish the match 10-5 victors. Last but not least, John Kerr's Eight Ball Army had a bye tonight.
