It's congratulations to Pigeon Club Pool Team. Bryan McWhirter's side won the Larne League Knock Out Cup tonight to complete a fantastic League and Cup Double. The match was played in the Q.Club, Sunday 5th May. Pigeon raced into a 2-0 lead but Aaron Rolston stopped the rot with Q.Pool winning four on the trot. Pigeon responded with a run of five racks to lead by 7-4 but back came William Irvine's side again winning two to trail by only one frame at 6-7. But it wasn't to be for Q.Pool and Gerry McCorry sealed the deal for Pigeon finishing nicely in Frame 16 for an 8-6 win.
