FEATHERS v BYE

Gers kept their title challenge alive winning 10-5 away to Jordan Peoples' Freewheelers. The match was locked at 5-5 after ten frames but Stuart Houston's side moved up a couple of gears taking all five racks in the final session to secure both points. League leaders Pigeon Club had a potential banana skin fixture away to St Comgalls, but Bryan McWhirter's side won the opening eight frames to settle any nerves. Even though St Comgalls took five from the next seven the damage had already been done and Pigeon remain three points clear at the top. Feathers remain in third even though they had their bye this week, but Ibrox and Q.Pool are now level on points after both had comfortable wins, Ibrox 13-2 at home to Clonlee and Q.Pool 12-3 away to Thatch Rockets. Q.Club came out on top in the derby match against The Blues though they needed to take the last four frames to do so after a bright start by Blues. Last but not least Rubys got back to winning ways, Sean Davison winning Frame 15 for the visitors to save a play off frame away to Station Bar.
