After our break last week for the Festival of Pool the Q.Club sponsored Larne & District Pool League returned to League action as we head to the business end of the season. League leaders Pigeon Club were at home and they steamrolled Freewheelers by 13-2. Second placed Gers got it a lot tighter though against bottom team Thatch Rockets in the Rangers Club, Rockets excelled and Gers had to win the final two frames to save the match from going into a play off frame. Feathers were untroubled at Clonlee winning 11-4 and Ibrox registered the same score away to the Blues. Q.Pool dropped a point away to Station Bar, the visitors had Aaron Rolston to thank for winning the play off frame to level at 8-8. Q.Club received a 15-0 walkover as Rubys Stars were unable to field a team whilst St Comgalls had a bye this week.
