Pigeon Club stay four points clear at the top of the Q.Club sponsored Larne & District Pool League after a solid 10-5 win at home to Station Bar. Both points were secured after the second session as Pigeon raced out of the traps to lead 9-1, Station won the final session 4-1 to add respectibility to the scoreline. Gers got their title challenge back on track with a confident 11-4 win over Q.Club, Stuart Houstons men won the first four and five of the last six racks of the match and if they can win their game in hand next week away to St Comgalls they will trail Pigeon by only three points. William Irvine's Q.Pool are still well in the race, they overcame Ibrox tonight by 9-6 with debutante Gary Clarke registering a hat trick. Hugo Manson's Feathers continue their top form to stay in third spot with a comfortable 11-4 win away to Nick McClays Rubys Stars. At the lower end of the table Paul Smyth's St Comgalls leapfrog Station Bar into seventh position after an untroubled 11-4 home win against bottom side Thatch Rockets. Alex Irvine's Blues move to within a point of Rubys Stars after defeating second bottom Clonlee 9-6, Blues wrapped up the points after moving into a 9-3 lead though Clonlee rallied taking the last three frames of the night. Last but not least Freewheelers had a bye this week.
