Q.Pool slipped off top spot on the League table after crashing 10-5 away to Ibrox. Highlight of the night was an incredible finish from Stephen Johnston which drew applause from both sets of players. Down at the Q.Club itself Stuart Houston's Gers had to win the last three racks including a Dean McDonagh play off frame to keep well within touching distance of the summit. With Q.Pool and Q.Club both dropping points Bryan McWhirter's Pigeon Club team took full advantage and moved clear at the top, though they too had to win the last three frames of the night against a resilient Station Bar side for 9-6. Feathers laboured but eventually took both points courtesy of an Alan Johnston play off frame win against a very determined Rubys Stars team whilst Blues registered their first win off the season, a comfortable 11-4 success away to basement team Clonlee. Last but not least Paul Smyth's St Comgalls side also registered their first win of the season though they had to win six from the last seven frames after an impressive start from Thatch Rockets.
