Pigeon Club overcame another tough hurdle after last weeks Play Off Frame win over Feathers, this time they seen off Richard Todd's Ibrox team. The match was tight with Pigeon leading 5-4 after Frame 9 but Bryan McWhirter's team moved up a gear to close the match out with a 10-5 win to move on to six points at the top of the League table. Also on six points are William Irvine's Q.Pool and Neil McFaul's Q.Club, with 12-3 and 9-7 respective wins, Q.Pool away to Clonlee and Q.Club at home to St Comgalls. Wayne Lewis was the hero of the hour for Q.Club as he won Frame 16 to give his team both points. Feathers had a convincing 11-4 win over Gers whilst Station Bar eased to a 10-5 win at home to Freewheelers. Last but not least, Blues and Rubys shared the points after an 8-8 draw. Blues' Ryan Scott looked to have given his side both points after potting the eight in the Play Off Frame but watched agonisingly as the cue ball trickled slowly towards the centre pocket and dropped in much to the relief of opponent Sean Davison.
