League leaders Five put last weeks shock result well and truly behind them and in doing so they ended Blues' recent unbeaten three game run. Bryan McWhirter's team won 13-2 (4-1, 5-0 and 4-1) to stay two points clear at the top. Bottom side Lorraine's Flyers who had drawn with Five last week had no answer to what Nick McClay's Q.Stars threw at them going down 4-11, Q.Stars remain in second spot, still very much in the title race. Also still in the title race are St Comgalls who got it tight but eventually overcame a determined Thatch Rockets. Alphonsus McIlwaine's team had to win Frame 15 to avoid the Play Off Frame for a 9-6 success. Session scores in the Thatch were 2-3, 1-4 and 3-2. Result of the night must go to Jordan Peoples Freewheelers' who came back from 0-5 down at home to a strong Q.Tips team to force a Play Off Frame. Up stepped Ryan Martin to do the business and earn Freewheelers an unlikely point. Ibrox were largely untroubled when they travelled to face Clonlee, Michael Wilson's lads ran out 11-4 victors with session scores of 3-2, 5-0 and 3-2. Last but not least this week, Ryan Scott's Q.Club side got back to winning ways with a very convincing 12-3 (5-0, 4-1, 3-2) home win over Station Bar.
