The dream is still very much alive for Feathers Pool Team in the Q.Club sponsored Larne & District League. Whilst they were hammering Cup Finalists Rubys Stars 12-3 away from home, title rivals Saints and Thatch played out a nerve jangling 8-8 draw, a result which sees Hugo Manson's Feathers increase their lead at the top to three points. Q.Pool consolidate fourth position after a mid match burst of six frames on the trot from 1-4 down helped them secure both points in a 9-6 win against Ibrox. Stablemates Q.Club overcame a gutsy St Comgalls team by the same 9-6 scoreline whilst Gers needed a Lee Hogg play off frame win to take a point from a bouyant No 1 Blues. Thatch Rockets won the all important sixteenth frame to share the points with Station Bar in the third 8-8 draw of the night whilst bottom team Clonlee will be cheered as they recorded their first win of the season in style, a 12-3 success away to Freewheelers.
