Leaders Feathers keep asking the questions to the chasing pack as they demolished bottom side Clonlee 14-1 in the Q.Club sponsored Larne & District Pool League. Out of the Top 8 teams only two others took maximum points, second placed Thatch with an easy 13-2 home win over No 1 Blues and Saints with a 9-6 win over Thatch Rockets. The latter was a strange match indeed with hot favourites Saints racing into a 9-6 lead only for the Rockets to come back to only miss out on a play off frame due to a missed black in Frame 15. An Ed McDowell play off frame win earned Ibrox a point at home to a determined Q.Club team whilst stablemates Gers had Colin Wilson to thank for their point in a gutsy 8-8 draw away to Q.Pool. Rubys missed the chance to move up to joint 4th as they squandered a 4-0 lead at home to Station Bar in a 6-9 reverse and last but not least St Comgalls move four points clear of the bottom three teams after a solid 10-5 away win against the Freewheelers in the Pigeon Club.
