Any outside chance Saints had of winning the Q.Club sponsored Larne & District Pool League were laid to rest by reigning Chamnpions The Thatch tonight. Bryan McWhirters side weren't really troubled and ran out 9-6 winners in the top of the table clash. Second placed Ibrox laboured at home to a determined Rubys side and were glad to get over the line for both points in a 10-5 win whilst Q.Pool kept up their recent good form overcoming Gers by 9-6 at home. Feathers had a comfortable home win over No 1 Reds by 10-5 whilst Station Bar needed the play off frame to secure both points against a gutsy Clonlee team. Honours were share in the No 1 Club as the Blues and Thatch Rockets drew 8-8 and up in the Tech Club the Tornadoes thrashed Freewheelers by a resounding 13-2. Last but not least Q.Club travelled to St Comgalls for a difficult fixture and left with both points courtesy of a 9-6 result
