Its been a crazy season in the Q.Club sponsored Larne & District Pool League. And Stuart Houston's mid table Gers threw another spanner in the works when they travelled down to leaders and reigning Champions The Thatch apparently as lambs to the slaughter. It looked to be going according to plan as they trailed 1-5 after six frames played but Gers took an amazing eight out of the next ten including a Lee Hogg play off frame win to open the League right up again. Gers stablemates Ibrox took advantage of an understrength Saints team as they ran out 11-4 winners to move within two points of leaders The Thatch. Feathers good season continues albeit with a 15-0 walkover against Q.Pool, a win that sees the Pigeon Club team climb up to 3rd spot in the League table. St Comgalls were always comfortable as they seen off Freewheelers by 12-3 though stablemates Clonlee lost out to No 1 Reds by 10-5. Tech Tornadoes stay in eighth courtesy of a 9-6 home success over Rubys Bar and Station Bar remain tenth after travelling the short distance to No 1 Blues where they recorded an 11-4 victory. Last but not least Neil McFaul's Q.Club overcame Thatch Rockets with a bit to spare by 10-5.
