Well, well, well. Only three weeks ago Saints playing fantastic Blackball Pool had played 19 won 19 and looked nailed on to break the Thatch dominance and become the Q.Club sponsored Larne & District Pool League Champions for 2016. But after last nights results they drop to second behind the Thatch with the momentum now firmly in favour of the reigning Champions. Saints lost 6-9 at a determined No 1 Reds side whilst Thatch overcame form team Station Bar with a comfortable 11-4 scoreline. Ibrox stay third after outpotting Thatch Rockets 13-2 whilst Q.Pool remain fourth after a solid 11-4 win away to basement team Rubys Bar. Feathers were untroubled by stablemates Freewheelers in the Pigeon Club derby match running out easy winners 14-1. Q.Club get back to winning ways defeating newcomers Clonlee by 13-2 whilst Gers remain in sixth spot courtesy of a 9-6 home win over the improving young No 1 Blues team. Last but not least honours were shared for the second time this season between St Comgalls and Tech Tornadoes with talisman Rab Wilson winning the final frame for the home side to earn his team a point.
