Q.Stars 9-6 Eight Ball Army
Q.Tips 10-5 Lorraine's Flyers
Station Bar 4-11 Ibrox
Q.Stix V Bye

Feature Match - Second played sixth as Eight Ball Army and Q.Stars met with only two points between them in the final League fixture of 2019 in the Larne & District Pool League. A tight match was expected and that was what we got with Q.Stars' Sean Davison having to win the final frame of the night to stop the match going into a Play Off frame. And that's exactly what he did to give his team a 9-6 win and two vital points. Session scores in favour of the winners were 3-2, 3-2, 3-2, best on the night for Stars was Drew Niblock with a fine hat trick whilst Thomas Fleming and Ryan McAleenan registered braces for the Army.
Ibrox stay in touch at the top after an away win over Station Bar. The hosts led 2-0 but back came the visitors winning six out of the next seven racks. The match was still very much in the balance after the second session with Ibrox only leading by 6-4 but they moved up through the gears winning the final session 5-0 for an 11-4 success on the night.
Hugo Manson's Q.Tips who are also well in the title race were in trouble early doors as visitors Lorraine's Flyers raced into a 3-0 lead. But they eventually woke up and 6-4 after the second session had ended. Tips then pushed on to close the match out at 10-5.
Although Clonlee won the first frame in the St Comgalls Club derby match, there was to be no shock result as St Comgalls ran off seven on the trot before eventually running out 11-4 victors. The result keeps Paul Smyth's side well in the title race only two points off the top spot.
Bryan McWhirter's Five Plus One will go into the second half of the season leading the chasing pack by a single point after a 13-2 thrashing of basement team the Blues. At one stage it looked like it would be a whitewash but to their credit Blues dug deep to win two racks on the trot in the final session.
Alan Johnston's Q.Stix had a bye tonight.
