Bryan McWhirters' Five remain in top spot after tonights action in Week 6 of the Larne & District Pool League. They steamrolled bottom team Thatch Rockets losing only one frame out of the fifteen played. St Comgalls had a great win over a strong Q.Tips team to remain one point behind Five. The match was tight all the way and fittingly went to a Play Off frame. Up stepped Dean McDonagh to win it for the visitors though he was very fortunate as his opponent had an unlucky in off after potting the black. Nick McClays Q.Stars were in fine form too and also remain only one point behind the leaders after a clinical home display against previously unbeaten Ibrox. Session scores were 4-1, 4-1 and 3-2. Micky O'Boyle's Station Bar side continue to climb the table this time the Railwaymen registered a 10-5 away win over Freewheelers. Station had session scores of 4-1, 3-2 and 3-2. Ryan Scott's Q.Club registered their second win of the season away to Lorraine's Flyers. Flyers were well in the match right up to 5-7 but Q.Club took the final three racks to secure both points.
