Match of the night was undoubtedly the clash between St Comgalls at home to Q. Stars. Both teams had a 100% win record before so something had to give. And after the final black of the night was potted both teams remain unbeaten as they battled out an 8-8 draw. The home side came from 4-8 down to force the play off frame where Anthony McCorry stepped up to rescue a vital point. Bryan McWhirter's Five remain on 100% and now on their own at the top of the table after a convincing 11-4 win at home to Clonlee, although the visitors had given them an early scare winning the first two racks of the match. Biggest win of the evening went to Michael Wilson's Ibrox who steamrolled Freewheelers 14-1 in the Rangers Club. Hugo Manson's Q.Tips got back to winning ways after last weeks reverse wasting no time to see off newcomers Lorraine's Flyers in the Q.Club by 12-3. Blues are only three points behind the leaders after a solid 9-6 success over Q.Club, Alex Irvine's team were at one stage 1-3 down after four frames played. Last but not least Micky O'Boyle's Station Bar side registered their second successive positive result beating lowly Thatch Rockets by 10-5.
